PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that a Public Hearing will be held by the Town Board of the Town of Machias on Monday. September 16. 2024 at 6:45 p.m. at the Machias Town Hall, 3483 Roszyk Hill Road, Machias, New York regarding a Local Law to repeal and replace our current 2010 law regulating Wind Energy Conversion Systems. Any residents of the Town of Machias shall be entitled to be heard upon said proposed Local Law at such Public Hearing. Copies of said proposed Local Law is available for review at the Machias Town Hall locate d at 3483 Roszyk Hill Road, Machias, New York as well as at the Public Hearing. The Local Law may be accessed through the Town's website, www.machiasny.org.

This restriction is for your safety and that of your neighbors. If the fire trucks or ambulance can't get through to a call, the result could be devastating.
